Become a volunteer with UPA

If you want to volunteer with UPA, contribute to changing the world into a better place and start your lifetime adventure, contact us. As an international volunteer you can participate in the Short term (STV) and Mid- and Longterm Volunteer (MLTV) exchange programmes. Information about the themes, venues, activities and the dates of workcamp projects can be found in the STV section and the several MLTV placements in the MLTV. It is also a good idea to read the UPA Guide for Volunteers since it contains much useful information.

From the new taxi park take a matatu (taxi) to Wakiso. The journey takes about 30 minutes and the fare is 1400 Ush. The price of the return journey varies. Get off when you see the UPA and EAWA sign or ask the driver to stop at the first Mosque after the Nansana stage. UPA is across the road from there.

When using your own transport take Hoima rd and also turn from the road at the UPA sign. Follow the dirt road and after approximately 50 meters the UPA guesthouse and secretariat can be found on the lefthand side.
